Who we are
OKG is committed to supporting high-impact companies with strong social value, particularly in areas where there is a disconnect between clinical needs and traditional VC priorities. Our investments focus on chronic disease therapeutics and diagnostics, with oncology as a primary area. We have built close collaborations with pharmaceutical companies, clinical networks, and charitable foundations to advance medical innovation. Our active projects span preclinical and clinical-stage drug discovery for solid tumor oncology, CNS drug development for epilepsy and neurodegenerative diseases, oncology target discovery platforms, advanced imaging for cancer diagnosis, proteomic molecular diagnostics, antimicrobial resistance diagnostics, and remote patient monitoring for acute oncology.
The Team
Karim Galzahr
Karim has 30 years of experience in all aspects of finance including M&A, asset management, corporate development and strategic advisory work across the technology sector in general and the medical technology area in particular. Karim acts as advisor and non-executive director to early-stage companies, providing input on finance, strategic partnering, investor relations, hiring and commercial deployment. He is also acting director for several private and public companies in the industry.
Ines Galzahr
Ines has a track record in all aspects of corporate financial development with a focus on telecoms and technology, including senior responsibilities for M&A and strategic partnering, as well as extensive markets experience. She is a trained economist with an interest on medical statistics and is responsible for financial analysis and capital raising dynamics for OKG portfolio companies.
Sol Jordan
Sol is a Chemical Engineer that has ample experience in the oil and gas industry, having fulfilled roles in areas such as process design, project management and ISO Norms certification.
Gabor Zichy
Gabor is an Industrial Designer with a background in Mechanical Engineering with experience in product design and manufacture of consumer devices. He is the co-founder of a robotics company and a design engineering consultancy firm.
